Warm water + mild unscented soap, or a dedicated toy cleaner. Air-dry. Store in a breathable cloth bag, not plastic.
Motorized toys
Don't submerge unless the spec sheet says waterproof. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before storing.
